Matthew 22:41-46 | The Final Question

After answering every challenge brought against Him, Jesus turns the tables on the religious leaders and asks them a question: “What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is He?”

Their answer—that the Messiah is the son of David—is correct, but incomplete. Quoting Psalm 110, Jesus shows that the promised Christ is not merely David’s descendant; He is David’s Lord.
